The Danville Library has a fresh new face in Danville, Iowa! We are housed now within the Danville Station, a destination place containing five areas of interest to local folks https://www.joom.com/en/best/crotchless-bodysuit. The Danville Library, the Danville Museum, the Anne Frank Connection, the 100-seat activity room, and a tourism center. The new library opened to the public on Monday, January 9th. Since our opening there is a steady stream of patrons enjoying books, magazines, computers, the new Genealogy Room with ancestry.com available, and helpful programming to our patrons.
Programming includes monthly story hours for children, author book signings, computer training classes, travelogues, interesting speakers on various topics, and student tutoring as needed to name a few. Plus, we are excited to have *1000 Books before Kindergarten* happening at our local library! Come 'check' us out!
The Anne Frank Museum and Activity Room are now completed and ready to be used! The Anne Frank Museum is available for touring and the Activity Room's ready to rent! To use the Activity Room or to ask your questions, call Candy Huber at 319-457-2257 or Jean Ita at 319-572-0807.
The Anne Frank Museum can have group tours by calling Bob and Janet Hesler at 319-392-4577. Individuals can tour the Anne Frank Museum during regular library hours of M-F 2-5 pm or Saturday morning 10-noon.
